What if Skribit Went minimalist?

I would love to add Skribit to this blog...if only...
For those who haven't had a chance to check it out, Skribit is a type of widget that you can add to your blog (usually in the right side-bar. It enables your readers to suggest articles to write or issues to explore.

I would prefer to have it as a widget which could be implemented automatically at the bottom of blog posts "as a widget for the new blogger". A bit like Share This have done.

I have done some screen shots for the developer gang, and hope they take note ;-)

Thanks for the feedback William. One of the potential issues I see with being minimalist is that not many people would recognize the small Skribit icon and wouldn't know what to do with it, whereas the larger widget or a badge linking to the blog profile explains more as well as how to use it. I think that the reason this works for ShareThis is that it has an established brand and many people already know how it works.

Perhaps this can be something for us to consider for Skribit once we are more popular. What are your thoughts on this issue?

    Ooh, I like!

I saw your suggestion on our blog, and was curious to see what you had in mind. (since once there is a post, there's nothing to recommend, right?)

Very nicely done, it makes sense that people will have suggestions once they've read another post from the blogger. We could also offer a 'forwarding' functionality to suggest another blogger to comment on the above post as well!
